Al,

Can you pm me a quote on how much you would charge to install a o2 housing, licp, or fuel pump?

I know the licp and fuel pump may not even be that hard, but the o2 might...

Will you do installs on this trip?

I was just wondering if this would be wheel hp increases. I'm very much interested but am still debating whether its worth it for a mere 30 or so hp. I mean, I haven't even bought an exhaust system yet or downpipe. Eventually, I'll pick them up but as of this trip, its just too soon...My current car is the 06 MR. I was the first in AK by ordering it... Al, if you read this, please fill me in on some of your input. Thanks...

We only speak in whp increases. YOu won't find another mod on the Evo that will make more power for this money, so I don't know how there would be any debate.

You will gain more from a $175 base flash or $375 custom flash than any other mod possible on the Evo for the money. In fact, you will get more power than most mods that even cost more like a full exhaust. Even a completely stock IX can benefit greatly from a nice flash, so it would behoove you to take advantage of Al being in your state, since you may not get any other opportunities (within reason).

I understand this is a great mod but how safe is it?

I hear you say Custom flash and base flash but to my understanding a flash is just that, a simple flash. If he comes down to ANhcorage he will have no Dyno to Tune our cars so how extaclty does he do a custom flash with no dyno?

Is it pure street tuning or just a basic One calibration fits all with a specific Mod list....

what is your input on this WArr? Thanks you.

TurboIX, this is very standard and simple stuff. All of these tuning trips are for custom tuning, meaning you get 2 hours of road tuning, which is where the car is driven. A base flash is just a best guess based on your mods. A custom road tune is tailored perfectly to fit your car EXACTLY - that's the whole point.

How safe is it? Not really sure why safety would come to mind. This is the most common form of tuning in the entire Evo community, so it's as safe, if not safer, than any tuning method.

How safe is it ?

Very safe - we have a really excelent record of reliability over hundreds and hundreds of customers with some over 100,000 miles - no problems

How do I tune it = road tuning over a 2 hour period - data logged and fine adjusted to match your specific car as you drive it

I have a base tune version you can send it in by fed ex any time or a custom tune as in this case which is set up for your individual car

He rarely gets back to people - you just send me your questions. What is holding you up from sending a deposit?

The fact that I only buy over the phone with a credit card....if he doesnt answer his phone then maybe anyone from dynoflash can and they can take the payment.

is it true that if you get dynoflashed you can get flashed for free again once you get more modifications?

I'm planning on getting this custom tune on a stock Evo with no mods at all...how much increas in power "APROX" will I see?

He's a one-man operation, so you just have to get him on the phone or give me your phone number, and I'll have him call you. Paypal is far easier and less of a hassle, though.

No, tunes are not free, else he'd make no money. What happens is if you purchase a custom tune, then you get free mail-in flashes for life, but any subsequent custom tune is $300 (discounted).

On a stock IX, you should see 30-40whp gains with custom tuning alone. Two stock IXs in DC with just an MBC and base flash gained 50whp peak on the same dyno before and after. Not saying that happens everytime, but in their cases it did, because the extra boost from setting the MBC to 22psi on 93oct allowed for nice gains.
