Has anyone talked to AL this week or recieved any emails/pm's from him?

I have delt with him before and all went well. I am in need of a new flash and i sent him the money, ROM, and mods list to all 3 of his email addresses. Today will be 4 days and i have not heard anything from him. I tried to call him and i left a message. Both of my PM's state that they have not been read and i even checked my spam box for my email to make sure he didnt send me a reply. I have no problem with him being busy and having to contend to other customers just was wondering if anyone has spoken to him or heard from him this week.

Maybe its just me...

Wait a minute. Just the other day you asked me to help, and you hadn't even sent him the ROM yet. Now, you claim it's been 4 days? What's up with that? There's nothing Al can do if you don't send the ROM, no matter how long ago you paid, and 2 days is hardly any wait at all. Keep it in perspective...

chill... I asked you if you worked with or for AL. I asked you if he was unavailable. You asked me if i sent him everything he needed. I told you i did not send the rom file. But reguardless, if he noticed that i did not include all of the information he needed all he had to do is shoot me a email and he would have it within 2 minutes. I only questioned if AL was away because my pm's i sent him stated that they were unread. And obviously it didnt matter that i sent him the rom file 2 days later. Cause he's getting to it and i know that hes got the emails and the $ i sent him.. If hes happy im happy. It could have taken a week if he had to. It doesnt bother me, i just like to have communication when i am sending money.

You act like im yellling and all pissed off at AL... Im not, actually i was happy with the first flash i got so i am coming back for another. Lets see how this goes, im sure it will be even better!

The mean face in your first post appeared otherwise...being this impatient and making a thread in the EcuFlash forum does nobody any good, whether you were intending to be malicious or not.

You enlisted my help before, and I told you what to do then. Why n ot ask me for help again? I helped you realize you made a mistake, but after sending the ROM, you didn't come back to ensure Al got it and was doing it - that's why I'm here and is why you originally contacted me, right?

 

This little guy= I put him cause it was a figure of speech saying its prolly just me. Just playin..

And this guy= yea, well he's the cool guy.


And to be quite honest.. Im not impatient. I as any other paying customer would like to know whats the ETA on any item being paid for. Thats why so many of us like tracking numbers and contact with the person/company on the other end. Communitcation is the key to a happy customer in any line of business. And i know AL is a very, very busy man and im sure at times its more than he could ever ask for so i sometimes wonder if my email and or PM has been acidently deleted, or looked over, or missed. So after a few days it would be nice to know that im not just another email address and that i am in line of being helped.

But other than that i cannot ask for faster service just a heads up.

BTW: Thanks AL for letting me know i will have it today.

 

I also sent my info and paypal out about 4 days ago and have heard nothing... judging by what ive heard from responses it can take up to 10 days

I've always heard it takes only a day or two. But i guess it all depends on how busy he is. The first time i had al do a flash for me it only took two days. 10 days... that kinda sucks. But i guess it would prolly be better off to request and pay for flash before you are ready to use it. Oh well, im sure it would be worth the wait if it took that long. He told me he will have mine emailed to me today.
Im waiting by my computer cause...today is my only day off. And i would like to get it.

I never even got a response saying he recieved everything so i hope all went well!
