Well I guess the majority is voting for tuning Sept 22-24. I guess its up to you Al on the tuning slots that you want to make available for us for the 22-24. Let us know when you want to tune on those days, later.

p.s. Al you might get another person signing up for the tuning meet if you responsed to 56hotrod's PM, seems like he is pretty interested in a tune. I just wanted to remind you of trying to look for his PMs, later.

Quick question for you Al and sorry for it being off topic. But i was just reading a thread titled Al and my road tune. You said that the customer IX fuel pump was shot and you recommended upgrading to a Walbro # 342, i think it was. Is this the same thing as a walbro 255 or different, i'm guessing different? What mods did the guy with the IX have that his stock fuel pump was not flowing enough for? I have catless TBE, LICP, k&n cone filter and MBC set at 21 psi, would you recommend upgrading the fuel pump with these mods before the tune? If you do recommend upgrading, where can i get my hands on a walbro 342? Thanks for your time.

I sell the walbro 342 for $90 shipped

Its a 255 lph high pressure pump

What happens on the stock pumps is that when you drive around on a low tank the pump is out of the gas and can over heat and it starts to flow less pressure

The walbros are more consistant under hard boosting cars

Every evo should have an upgraded Walbro fuel pump on it if it has a boost controller as the stock pump usually starts to become over worked when the boost levels are higher than stock particularly in the high rpms area

Al, so even though a couple months ago you said the IXs could hold off on upgrading the fuel pump a little longer then the VIIIs, you recommend/say its a must for the IXs to upgrade the fuel pump now too? Damn, that kind of sucks, i really don't feel like spending another $90 right now, but i guess its better to do it and be safe then sorry. Also you when are you going to put the time slots up for us to choose from for the tuning meet?
