I am not a forum newbie, nor intARweb newb.... I am searching and searching, but cannot find anything definitive on how to get an EFlash.

1) $50 paypal to info@dynoflash.com
2) email info@dynoflash.com your ROM image.

Is that it? It's simple, I am sure. But, I have been searching for an hour with various search params, nothing clear comes up.

It would be nice if this was a sticky in this forum. It was actually kind of hard to find. There are a dozen or so search phrases that seem like they should match but just don't seem to hit on this thread:

If you type this in the search on the home page "E-Flash" it will bring up alot of results but one of the should be the one that Al started that tells you what to do to order an E-Flash.

Bump for this thread because i'm going to be doing an eflash soon. I'm not sure what the price is for this service. I thought it was $50 per map.

 

It's $85, because $50 was just way too low for the time it takes to do all the work.

The thread is closed, because Al is stopping e-flash as a service for now until he can catch up. Adding more customers to the long list of people who have been waiting is counter-productive, so we're going to take care of everyone who has already paid, then regroup.

 

Is there an ETA on when it will be available again?

 

I would like to know if there is an estimated date e-flashes will be offered again too. I was planning on ordering a tactrix cable in the next couple days and hopefully ordering the e-flash next week. Is this possible or am I out of luck now?

Yes, I've read that post from beginning to end. Unfortunately all communication stopped after Al upped the price of the E-Flash tune to 149.99 bringing the total cost of the flash + cable over the cost of a mail-in flash.

However, the benefits of having my own cable outweight the extra cost involved in ordering the E-Flash. I just hope that with the lowered demand after the 300% price hike has given him enough time to respond to my purchase in a reasonably quick time.

The unfortunate pain those of us with instant gratification addiction need to live with.
