DynoFlash in SoCal - Sept 2nd and 3rd

Am I missing something here?...I went to the DynoFlash forum and found Al is in the Los Angeles area. It seems like the opportunity isn't getting the exposure it deserves. There seems to be plenty of openings!!!

I am seizing the day...carpe diem baby!

Who is in?

Sounds interesting but at $300 for a custom road tune I'd rather go to Tuning Technologies and pay $350 for a custom dyno tune.

A good road tune is better than a dyno tune, IMHO.

Tell ya what, you go get that done and I will get Als tune...Then we can meet at the track and see who is boss...

My writers have prepared this special statement that has been cleared and deemed politically correct for the Evolutionm.net audience. Scroll down to see my reply:

Thank you kind gentlemen for pointing out that some flash newbies have recently jumped from advanaced SAFC technology to the arena of reflashing now that reflashing equipment is free

This fact still does not negate the reality that for the past 4 years I have been reflashing Evos and these same individuals have been saying that ONLY the SAFC can properly tune an evo

Now that free reflash equipment is available suddenly these same individuals have become reflash experts

I am not saying that they cant do a decent job - I have no clue

BUT - I am saying its farirly ironic how just a few months ago these same posters were advising not to waste money on a reflash but to get a SAFC instead tuned by the same individuals

As for dyno tune vs road tune - I am sick of this debate and there are pages of threads for anyone interested in reading details on that subject

I am comming to LA to offer tuning services and those interested in my services are welcome. Those who wish to pursue alternative tuners, best of luck.

I would apprteciate it if fan boys of other tuners would refrain from cluttering this thread with off topic remarks

Thanks AL

Who's paying $350? I'm paying $500 for mine on the 29th. Is the $350 for just a pump gas tune?

...However, at 37 years old I usually beat them and their dad up (in a race that is).

never said he or i recommended it... i just said he just can do it. he still doesn't recommend it. there's something about saving people money that kills you huh? cuz yes now it's free, yes now scot can do it becuase he was waiting for an open source flashing device to come out. that's what grassroots is all about. it's not about making a buck, it's about developing the community.
