odering question?

I have everything ready to get Dynoflashed. So do I just simply ship my ECU to him with the money order and a mod list? Or do I have to contact him first?

I tried looking for the answer but couldn't find it. Just need a quick answer from someone.

No contact is needed. Just follow the instructions posted in the sticky above or on his website. Wham, bham, thank you, ma'am - easy as that.

That's exactly as I did. Now i'm anxious as hell to get it back. Cant wait to see if this ***** finally fix all my problems I had since another tune from a different vendor.

Oh and if anybody knows the answer to this i'd appreciate it. I have my rev. limiter unplugged currently. Will I need to plug that back in for the 2 step to work?

Yes, you will. The good part about that is if you want to ever launch without it, you can just unplug the switch. I'm not sure 03/04s can do that, but they may also have the switch - I've never checked.

Not talking about just any clutch switch. There are 3 switches on the 05/06s, one of which is for the built-in 5k limiter that then becomes the 6k limiter with the flash.

All clutched cars have the clutch starter switch...

I'll look tomorrow and get back to this. I'm not sure how many switches are on the 30/04s. I am thinking just the one but i'll check tomorrow anyways cause i'm not sure.

Thanks for the answer bro.

So I do take it though that the 6k limiter i'm getting from al will still launch much better than the stock one did. I hated that thing lol

Absolutely!! You build boost with AL's flash where as you don't with stock. Makes the launch stronger adn brings down 60ft times.

No, you definitely build boost with the stock 5k limiter just like you will with any limiter, but the higher the rpm, the higher the boost you build. Regardless, it's not the boost you build while sitting there that gives you good 60's. If that were the case, then launching without a 2-step wouldn't be any good, but I pulled 1.6s without launch control and now pull 1.7s with it. I am sure I can do 1.6s eventually as I get better with it, but I already was doing quite well without it.

If you didn't like the 5k limiter (I didn't either), then the 6k limiter won't necessarily work great, but it should at least allow you to launch consistently from a higher RPM.
