Any interest in a TEXAS trip ?
I was in Houston for brief lay overs the past month two times and was thinking of you Texas guys - its been a while since I have been there
I am trying to build up my airline miles before year's end and would love to pay you guys in Texas a visit for a tuning trip
I have dates in late October available
Lets see if we can find 4 or 5 guys to make this happen

I just finished sending PM's to four other evom members that expressed an interest for a Texas trip by DynoFlash from the following thread:

I hope they just on board too. I would be OK with a trip to Dallas.

I would be up for it in Dallas but last time everyone ran off to Houston. Maybe we should find some more people in Oklahoma to do it here, it would be perfect as there is no way to dyno tune Evos here. I'm sure I could do enough advertising around the OKC area.
Most of the people that I PM'ed this morning were from Dallas and OK city. I think that we could get 4-5 people together for an event in Dallas (I live in San Antonio and would drive to Dallas or Houston).

umm if we wanted to we could try to set something up at one of the shops with Dynos in Dallas... and i think as long as 4-5 people are going to get tunes weather it's reflash or EMS tunning Al would come ... right?

Ok looks good guys for Dallas
I actually greatly prefer to do road tuning for 2 hours as this is the best way, especially on pump gas, to assure the world class reliability of my product. Workingw ith stange dynos is always a factor which complicates matters and IMHO does not offer any benefot as far as the end result.
The most important issue in any tuning situation is if the tune is safe on the road where you drive it. This is why such efforts are made by myself to data log and test these cars on real roads.
Don't get me wrong you can achive a very good result with a dyno, I tune on the Dyno Jet here at Pruven every week day, it is just that I feel more confident and certain with the end product when its tuned and tested on a road. Doing a dyno tune and then driving and testing on the road is certainly a great option but I have found that it gets into multiple hours and the cost becomes more of a factor.
Finally, please relaize that I have been working on developing the maps I use for several years now and most of the timing and MIVEC profiles have been well sorted.
In most cases after you have tuned for example - 100 Buschur Stage 4's most of your tuning is to fine tune an existing map to suit an individual car and fuel used.
With all that said, I am free the 3rd weekend or 4th weekend of October and Dallas would be fine (also I have the first weekend of November)
Lets set the prices as follows on this trip
Evo 8 or IX custom new tune customer $350 2 hours
Evo 8 or IX custom tune existing customer $299
Subaru access port or ecutek retune custom map $299
I will do AEM tuning a 3 hour time slot for $400
I will ask for 4 bold guys to step up and get deposits in $100 to paypal@dynoflash.com and will allow you guys to select the weekend
The first to send in deposits shall also get preference on time slots
Thanks AL
