I may be trading in my 03 VIII on a IX in the next few days; we're still negotiating the price.

My car's tuned for a BR 3" TBE and K&N drop in filter. I don't want to screw up the tune for whoever would buy my car so I was wondering if taking out the K&N filter and putting the stock filter back in would affect the tune to any appreciable amount?

 

it will have no effect whatsoever!

 

Nope it won't. The drop in filter is unaffected by a tune. If its a SRI or CAI thats a different story
