Hey Al, I know a few STI guys and all the talk with them lately is the Blow-through style MAF. They're basically just welding their MAF housing into their Upper I/C pipe. Just throwing that out there...

Looking good AL... Getting close to the stock block GT35r record. I made 590hp a year and half ago on a bone stock sti motor, that record still stands. Main issue with making more power than that is the factory valve springs start to float at 33-34psi. They don't have enough seat pressure to close under the high boost.

Below 4k rpms it's pretty sluggish imo; under 200whp. It doesn't hit 300whp until near 4500rpms.

I know that's the nature of a bigger turbo like the GT35r; but usually the STi's see more down-low torque...
Not the case with this 35r or am I hoping for too much?

IMO - Evo's are great for high rpm hp; STi's are great for low and mid-range grunt. The former making the Evo fun on the track, and the latter making the STi fun on the street for me!

I think changing the valve train and cams is a priority !
