You simply

1 - must be 100% stationary - no vehicle speed

2 - must press in the clutch

two step should be active

My 2 step works if the clutch pedal isn't pushed in.....and if you push it in.

My Dynoflash 2 step is active whether the clutch is in or out.

Al, can you comment on that? Is there a circumstance where the 2 step is active even when the clutch pedal is NOT depressed? Just wondering if I've got a bad sensor or not...

To update this on Eric's car.....Dynoflash launch control activates whether the clutch is depressed or not, and still activates when the switches are disconnected and/or bypassed. I tested the clutch disengage and clutch position switches....a-ok. So either A) something else is completely goofed in the electrical system, or B) the Dynoflash LC will activate at just a mere standstill...no clutch needed. Seems a few other people can accomplish option B.......

Al can you please clarify the above. I tried to speak to you today on the phone about this and ask if there was another possible cause but simply got a "mail me the PCM and I'll take a look at it" statement..........I doubt it's the flash.

The issue revolves around an apparent condition where the LC activates while the car is moving and won't allow the motor to rev past 5900(5880 to be exact). Eric drives the car at Watkins Glen IR when this happens. I've yet to recreate this scenario myself with his car but am diagnosing the issue none-the-less. Deactivating the LC is my next move...
