I do most of my work in Florida on the Florida Turnpike

I have found that in those high heat conditions the best thermal load and wind cooling combination is in the real world operating condition

As the car is driven daily on a road - I find that a road is the most accurate load to set up a tune for a street car

If we have the 4 guys I need we can start to set up this trip

Im for it Let me know if theres room.Evo's finally here and mods going in this weekend.I read you dont tune if the car doesnt have arp headstuds and a 255 fuel pump. Are the headstuds really necessary for a pump gas tune on normal boost(say22 psi)?Car is an 05 evo8.STock everything as of today.Ive held out on installing my mods because I dont want to cause any problems until I know Im getting flashed.I have(own already) hks 272s,perrin drop-in,TurboXS MBC,70mm catback, and cat delete sitting in my room.I will most likely will buy a downpipe and walbro before tuning time.Otherwise stock.Looking to tune it once I install all this.I dont want arp headstuds nor do I want cam gears yet.Just looking for basic power additions. What do you recommend?Ive seen a few setups with what I want pulling nice numbers. I am able to be ready by then if I must add other things so please let me know....Sorry still new to the evo in specific....Keep me posted or pm me.I was going to take a trip with my buddy to Orlando. He gets his MR tuned at CFT.I guess the idea of getting flashed closer to home intrigues me.

Al

Unfortunately I have to withdraw from this, my AEM isnt installed yet and the sensors for mafless setup have to be wired.

I hope you have enought people to still make this work, and you will be coming down in the near future.

the best way to tune buddy.. we do all our landspeed bikes on a wideband to imitate real world conditions.. the only bike i have ever had on the dyno is the turbo busa and thats cause you cant make 600+whp pulls on the road..LOL

Ok guys looks like we have enough interest - I happen to be free the weekend of July 20 - 21

Does that work for you gentlemen ?

If so I need to quickly take some depoists and book a flight - I will need at least 4 guys minimum to do this on that weekend - looks like we have enough

Otherwise the first weekend in August is also free as an alternative

I am currently in Tallahassee, Florida and am trying to decide whether or not I want to bring my car down to Ft. Lauderdale or not.

So who is interested in the tune?

Also, how will we know what our power numbers are before the tune vs after the tune if we do a road tune?

Depending on what yall say, I will be down for this as well but only if its for August 11th.
