Dyno Flash joins ICS Performance Team

First of all I want to say THANK YOU to all my customers without whom I would not have ever been able to succeed in the business of tuning cars

I appreciate your continued support and business

I am pleased to announce that I have joined with the team of professionals at www.icsperformance.com here in Stamford, CT as the in house tuner

I will continue to offer the same Evo and Subaru reflash tuning services a well as tuning on stand alone engine management systems on all Evo and Subaru cars. My prices will remain exactly the same as they have been.

The only difference to my customers is that now I am located in a much larger, better equiped and professional facility which is able to supply a higher quality service experience for my customers who need repair and instalation work.

Also of note is that ICS uses a industry standard Dyno Jet 424X with both front and rear wheel drums the same size (easy on drivetrain) and also having the benefit of a unmolested acurate and uniform dyno reading.

The new facility represents one of the largest and best equiped performance shops on the east coast with early 13,000 square feet of work space - 13 lifts - two wheel alignment machines - in house fabrication and of course this wonderful dyno area

I look forward to seeing many of my customers at the new facility. I will be posting more pictures and videos in the new few weeks.

Thanks again to all of you for your continued support.

As a way to express my thanks and appreciation - I have arranged for all MY CUSTOMERS who have a DYNO FLASH CUSTOM TUNE done in the past year to recieve a FREE dyno pull on the ICS dyno to test the Dyno Jet power and see how your car is running. There is NO CHARGE for this service and it runs through the end of July. In order to set up an appointment send me a PM or call ICS Directly during normal business hours.

Also through the end of July I will offer $100 off all tuning and installation services such as reflash tunes on the dyno - cam installs - clutch installs - etc etc. Just mention this posting for your discount.

Al

Tim Dog.. LOL.. No one is taking over for me.. Al is just moving in to ICS... Why I dont know.. I wonder what happened with the SHOP.. Why he would have left there, he had a great thing with Jim. I know that George was trying to get AL in there for a while , I also know that Al worked freelance with Jim... I could only asume that Al was made a great $$$$$$$ deal to come down..

Simply put this was a place which I have asprired to work with for a long time. ICS has been very successful in the Audi, BMW and other europian import markets. I have watched them grow and I have always hoped that one day a opening would develop there for me.

Recently, an opening developed and I was lucky enough to secure a spot on the ICS team.

Nothing hapened to The Shop, they did a fantasctic job of servicng my customer's needs over the past year and I really enjoyed my colaberation with them.

When the chance arose to move to a much larger, better equiped facility with more resources I simply made the move to the ICS team. I feel that the new faciliy will offer a better experience for my customers and also it will give me a better environment to continue to do high quality work.

Jr you have always been a classy guy and remain so.

A lot of people could learn from the way Jr handles himself.

Best regards.

My customers come first and having as good a facility as I can have to offer my customers is the first and most important criteria

I am going from a small 3 bay facility with cars piled up on top of each other and no room to move - to a faciliy with 13 lifts and 13,000 square feel

In the new location we have customer waiting areas so customers dont have to wait in the service bays while cars are being repaired. There are multiple offices to sit down with customers and go over details.

They also recently added a huge second shop in the back which serves to house bigger installs and long term projects etc.

Also - ICS has in house shop Evo IX and Shop STI 07 vehicles which I will be tuning and modifying to serve as test beds for customers to see how a great street machine should run.

Basically, ICS is set up just the way you want a world class high performace center to be.

They also recently added a huge second shop in the back which serves to house bigger installs and long term projects etc.

Also - my Evo will be on display in the dyno bay at ICS for all my customers to check it out when they stop by which is a huge advantage for me as I will actually be able to work on my car now if I find some time between tuning appointments

Not to mention the fact that ICS is one mile from my house and less than a mile from the home office of Dyno Flash

This is a good question

There are a few customer cars at The Shop for example waiting on tranmissions to come back from service at Buschwacker or Shep, etc.

I think those situations must be handled on a case by case basis depending on what services are being done.

Anyone who needs tuning must contact me at ICS as that is the only location I will be tuning out of going forward - (with the exception of monthly tuning trips which I will continue to organize as time permits)

Its amazing - when I started back in 2001 Pruven was the only awd dyno other than altered in MD

It was mainly becuase of the 02 WRX that AWD dynos became useful on a commercial basis

Now we have so many dynos in CT they are more common than a jiffy lube !

The advent of loads of dynos and also cheap accurate widebands has certainly changed this business

Now we are changing less for a 2 hour custom dyno tuned reflash than you could have just rented the dyno to tune yourself 5 years ago

MA doesn't have a whole lot of awd dyno's but a million 2wd due to the huge mustang camaro tuners.
