My second owner 03 VIII may have come to me with a Walbro fuel pump (the car once had an EBC, but now has the stock vacuum lines etc). I have the standard mail in flash, could that goof things up for me? I don't know how to find out for sure what it has without surgery.

 

how about looking, the fuel pump is on the driver side under the rear seat.

 

+1 ... why guess? look yourself.

 

Just pop the rear seat out and take the 4 philips screws out of the inspection cover - you should be able to tell by looking at the top of the pump IF it was taken out before - there is paint marks left by the factory on the nuts - see if they still line up
