We do not provide the free updates in person. We only do them by mail in as many times in the past we would wind up delaying customers with dyno appointments while we were doing free updates.

If you can drop the car off for a full dayand leave it with us I can do it between appointments.

Pm me if you would like and I can quote you for reduced returning customer dyno tuned fees.

Al

75 bucks for fed ex shipping?? That is rediculous. It sounds like you are advertising free flashes and trying to find a way to still make money off of it.

I see your point. But my guess is that most of that is insurance coverage. Wouldn't it suck for UPS, Fed-Ex, or USPS to lose you ECU.

Well, unfortunately you guessed wrong- Its like $15 or $20 max to send it insured for $600 via UPS ground shipping, thats how I ship my ECU to Works for updates...
Works also advertises free reflashes for life- but there is a catch... its only free when you make a purchase thru them at the same time, otherwise to just send in your ECU for a reflash from them and nothing else its $50.
No offense to Al, but $75 for shipping an ECU?! Only if it is overnighted or same day delivery both ways across a couple states...

Come on guys. $75 is cheap for a new tune. He offered to squeeze you in for free. There is a reason that the performance aftermarket industry is struggling. Everyone wants something for nothing.

Its a Z24 so dont get it twisted

$75 for shipping is a bit crazy but on the other hand other places charge $300-$500 to retune a car.Thats why i tuned my own car even though it idles like crap with new cams but ill get to idle soon enough.
