Buschur Exhaust Install

Al,

What's up buddy!? I've just ordered the full turbo-back from Buschur. 3" DP, High-flow cat, catback w/Magnaflow. Should I prepare accordingly BEFORE I've installed the exhaust, and go ahead and send you my ecu again? Will I be able to drive the evo after the install, and wait for a dyno tune?

If I mail the ecu again, will it be the $100 for the re-flash? *I've already been mail-in flashed*

Also, what boost controller do YOU prefer? You've worked with heck of a lot more than I have, so suggestions are most definitely welcomed!!!

Can you make it to Agile auto in MD on March 20?

I'll credit you the mail flash payment to a custom tune which they have on sale that day

What intake do you have ?

I prefer the buschur mbc and the HKS evc V elect one

Is there a link on the March 20 thing? How much would the custom tune be on the 20th?

I have the K&N Typhoon intake...

Thanks for the controller input!

Al, what exactly is involved with getting the Flash done? I have been interested for quite some time and I think with my mods I could benifit from this.

I would highly recomend the buschur flash to you - info can be found at the Buschur Racing web site

As an alternative I have the Fireball 2 reflash that i offer directly - although prob not as good as the Buchur Flash it is very economical at $199 and everyone who bought it raves

Basically we take your ecu and re-program in some settings

We do either a through the mail flash - OR we do a custom tune to your mods

after adding a boost controller Al was able to get me from 273whp to 310whp/294ft/lbs torque. All that I have is a 3" ultimate racing exhaust and buschur intake with a Hallman MBC.

Thanks for th einfo Al. I will give Buschur a call and check things out. I would like to get flashed according to the mods that I have now.

Also, I have an S-AFC. Do you disconnect that after the flash or use different settings to accomidate the flash?

stv, I'm no expert, but I've read that all settings would be set to 'zero' once it's been dynoflashed...

Yes,

All of the settings on the SAFC would be set back down to zero.

I would still keep it though as you can always tune for race gas when you are at the track.

Exactly - and it makes a nice monitor of engine functions as well
