mbc install question

When installing a mbc, should the boost solenoid be completely disconnected & capped off?

I know to disconnect the line from the turbo to the boost solenoid, but should i also disconnect the other line & cap off the boost solenoid?

thanks

It may depend on how the MBC was designed. However, **I THINK** almost all of them would eliminate the solenoid since the whole point is that the MBC will control the pressure. Just like Al I have mine capped off and out of the way.

I understand that the mbc is to control boost by eliminating the solenoid, but why disconnect the 2nd line if you dont have too? Its not that i am lazy, but why bother?

What is the 2nd boost line for then? Does this line influence a/f corrections based on pressure or something?
