head stud question

al,

whats your opinion on replacing the head studs without removing the head. just doing the one stud at a time method.

i just dont have the time to pull the head right now

Not the most "proper" way to do the job by the "book"

But I have heard of many guys doing that with no problem

Your taking a chance either way you go unless you take the time to pull the head

what torque spec do you recommend for the arp studs?

Without o-rings I would go with the ARP specs

I go significantly higher than that without issue
