The "real" deal Evo

Trash talkers, bench racers, dyno queens, trailer riders, Monday morning quarter backs who keep on talking about how much power they have or how fast they WILL be going REAL soon . . . .

I'm still waiting and BTW . . . .

You ain't doing it "real" in an Evo unless it rides in the snow, rally style, AND is fast at the track

Sure - my Evo is fast - but it handles, I drive it every day and it dosn't break down or blow up

There is more to life than going fast in a straight line - I'd like to see how well those mustangs and vettes i beat at the strip can do in this weather we're having today

With an evo you can really have it all

I agree!

I saw a honda with bicycle size rear tires in my last drag race.

AWD guys can run 4 regular sized tires and get good traction while running good 60 foot times.

1) I thought your engine blew.
2) I thought your manifold broke, and it was so bad that you almost died inhaling all that carbon monoxide.

1 - my engine never "blew" - I once had a bad valve guide which was fixed very quickly and I have taken my engine apart and back together about 5 or 6 times now playing with my head set up which we now have perfected - R & D sometimes takes time and effort

2 - I did get a cracked manifold and yes it did gas me pretty good - but HKS shipped me out a new one via fed ex and the 2nd one has been working like a charm

I'm NOT saying my car doesn't have some problems from time to time - I'm just pointing out that it functions, runs and gets me from point a to point b from day to day - AND its fast - its not a theory its a driving reality

i'm only making this point in response to so many storys of so many fast evos that not only did not make any times yet - they never saw the road

I have 15,000 miles on mine - still on the original complete drivetrain with no issues and hyaving gone faster than 11.99 at least a dozen times - thats a well made car IMHO - I love my evo

Not sure what you're looking for here. I don't think your going to find many that are going to disagree with you here.

I've had zero problems, (not even the kinda problems...) should I argue my car is better still??

that's impressive Evo-8: what did it cost you to get to where are with WHP numbers? Is yours a daily driver? just really interested in what others have done to get certain numbers on pump gas because that is what I want...I drive mine everyday! so I need to make a machine that can take that amount of driving...if you want to help me out, PM me and let me know your mods when you get the chance!
