I am already scared **** at 125 mph in the 1/4 - I would not like to see what happens if something breaks and I hit the wall at 125
IMHO 10.99 would be a decent time slip for a daily driver car on street tires which can also do a road course and spools up by 4,000 rpms. I have just a few more adjustments to make and i should be there

To me - such actions are like an abortion. The evo is a road car and should remain well balanced and retain daily driver capabilities. I have 8,000 miles om my built motor and 18,000 miles on my stock drivetrain - I drive it every day - every where
There is an art to balancinmg power, reliability and driveability and that is where I am trying to set an example
Making one drag run and having your drivetrain blow up (as a few tuners have done) or blowing up your engine on the strip (as anotherf one did) - or just blowing the evo up on the dyno before you even get to drive it (as others did) is NOT impressing me with anything. Basically - these "tuners" are bolt on part installers who think the key to marketing is to have the biggest turbo and make the most whp. IMHO the key to having a well running, dependable and enjoyable Evo which can go fast and LAST - is lots of R & D and trial and error which is what I have been doing on my Evo since day one.
As far as I am concerned - the trick is to keep it dependable, make it real fast and make it streetable. My car retains all emission controls, a/c, high flow cat, car stereo, etc etc etc
I have a good laugh just about once every day or so when I remind my self of all the so called "expert" tuners who have blown stuff up in evos and so far can't beat my times
I am hoping to convey the message that my theory of tuning is focused on relaible, smooth, and well balanced tuning. My success with my own evo is something that translates into the Dyno Flash tunes and I pride my product on the super conservative and safe tuning that is the hall mark of Dyno Flash.
