Question for Al.

Hello Al,
I plan on getting your dynoflash very soon. I just have a couple of concerns. My car seems to run really high EGT's no matter if I am pulling -7 on top or 0 with my afc. At the time I had my mbc set for 17-18psi at redline. I was also only getting 7 to 8 degrees of timing at the most up top. I am running Denso IW24's. I was usually seeing 900 celcius up there. I hit 930 or so once and backed off. These are pulls all in 4th gear running to 7000rpms. It's odd because sometimes I will only see 860 on the top of 4th and I am now running 19psi at red. I don't get it.
I know a friend of mine with the mail in flash and he sees at the most 880 on the top of 4th.
I am wondering if with your advanced timing if I will see safer EGT's?

Thanks for your time,
Barry

Your car is too lean even with 0 SAFC correction through 5500 rpms as the HKS RS intake results in super lean

This triggers detonation which in turn retards timing

retarded timing and super lean = high egt

try our HKS RS through the mail flash - if your not happy and seeing lower egts and better timing - then I'll flash you back to stock and give you a full refund - guarantee its the best $199.99 you ever spent on your car

Wow, thanks for the super fast respond. I will definitely give it a try. I want to get a fuel pump first then I will get the flash. Actually I think I will try and get my ecu off to you this week since I am off of work all week.

I noticed that Walbro has two options for the 255lph, the standard one and a high pressure one. Which one would you suggest if I eventually plan to upgrade to a larger turbo such as the gt35r?

Thanks

Hi Al,
I was wondering how do I purchase the dynoflash from you?
Also, you were definitely right about my high egt's. I added like 6 percent of fuel on top with my afc and the egt's peak out at 860 C on the top of 4th with an O2 voltage of 0.97. The car is running alot smoother. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks,
Barry

not to sound mean but isnt it obvious you would want the high pressure one for a Larger turbo like that?

The AEM is owrking fine now with the patches I got to fix the idel and other problems - However it will never be as good as a stock ecu eith reflash on driveability

You have to deicide if driveability is worth sacrificing the few extra whp you gain when you remove the mas sensor

Call me for details
