If not for my racing class rules requiring a exhuast exit behind the rear wheels I would get some side pipes for sure - one for main exhaust and the other for the wastegate

Al, when this many people complain, you know you're doing something right.

The main thing now is to get the look of the car so that it can get some exposure
So for me - i want to do something a little different than the typical "JDM" signage sticker job that is all so common in the magzaine's these days
being an old school hot rodder from back in the day, having started with a '66 corvair with spray can painted flames and then a '69 corvair with spray can painted rally stripes and then graduating to a '76 chevy nova with flames and side pipes, this kind of hot rod look is something that I am more familair with
I am more West Coast Chopper than Mr. JDM copy cat - not that JDM look is bad - its just not my bag
The original idea about the evo was the stealth, sleeper look which I liked with my STI/WRX - in fact i never got a tiket with the STI or EVO so the silver low key thing has been working well
I even used to park my Evo at the long term parking at the airport when I went away on tuning trips
Now that the Evo has gotten so darn fast that its virtually a danger to society to get on it anywhere but on a wide open 4 lane highway, the stealth mode is becoming less and less important as I really just crusie around off boost 90% of the time
Also - being that tuning evos is my full time gig now - the car is mostly a marketing platform - hence the more attention getting facade
I think the new look is working as people are stopping and staring every where i go and it has become 100% impossible to drive by any ricer without them trying to race me.
I have a few more things left till its finished, hopefully it will have the desired effect when i show up at NOPI next week

Weather dependant, and dpending on if my car is still in one piece I plan to shoot down to NOPI on the 25th right after the Mistubishi day at E'town
It sucks they have no decent classes for AWD cars but I still want to make a showing if things go well
Hope to see you there

BTW, did you have any stability issues when the wing was off? I am thinking about getting a C/F trunk painted w/o the wing...

When i show up at the Import survival series where the whole day is Imports vs. Dertiot "iorn" - and then I proceed to hand those jacked up mussel cars thier *** all day long - - AND - I have more flames and skulls then they do - thats when they are going to start to get a little upset
Thats the idea
While the dyno flash trck tuned cars are currently dominating the scene at the Open Track race out west - i am preparing the Dyno Flash assault on the drag strip and intend to break a few records in the process . . . more to come later this week

I love Advan wheels.
