Al and dynoflash does it again!!!!
I just got home
I had a little bug in the last run of the day that could have killed me and showed me how serious this hobby is
I was clean in 4th when the revs shot to 9600 - it seemed at the time like the clutch had let go - being the final I was not going to lift the gas no matter what happend till i hit the lights
What I did not know is that the collant line had popped off the turbo, dumped the underneath of the car with coolant and coated the rear tires which were now spinning like a snowy day - hence the quick shoot up to 9600 rpms
Here I was spinning the rear tires at 123 mph - foot to the floor - giant cloud of white smoke shooting out the back
I'd say I was about one inch from spinning out and slamming into the wall
Things worked out well this time and I just was able to drive through it - but it was a real eye opener
All I needed to do was by pass the turbo collant line and it was back in business - no harm
I would really love to get a video of this if someone has it

I feel like I realy accomplished something today
A few words about my wild 11.21 @ 128 mph blast today
I am very especially proud of this for serveal reaons
1 - Its a daily driver - drove it to the track and back home - no trailer queen
2 - It has not been on a dyno in months - It was street tuned in the rain by Martin at AMSand fine tuned by me in a couple of hours in the past week - ALL on the street and by the seat of the pants
3 - The engine - hand built for me by ferrarokid is now nearing 9,000 miles of my very hard core driving and a whole lot of drag runs and its still running like a clock AND the original factory drivetrain is now near 19,000 miles and still in perfect shape (only changed the clutch)
4- NO NOS - NO ntercooler sprayer - just c-16 gas and 2 bars of boost
5 - I finally hit 100 mph in the 1/8th twice today - it was something I have been trying to do for the past three years since i got my WRX - it was an amazing feeling
6 - STOCK STREET TIRES
7 - FULL standard Perrin super quiet 3" exhuast

Good job!
Al,
I haven't been reading much about you and your car for a while. Nice run! Hope to see you hit the 10's sometime this year.
Did you make a typo with the 12.2@128mph and it was 11.2 or did you type that correctly?
BTW: This is K. Thomas from the 'other' board.

if you are talking about the blue evo that ran 11.7 and 11.9 his name is ron and he is not on this site. His setup is simply BR stage 4 with a AEM ems and clutch and a driver that drives it like he stole it. The funny thing is he went 11.99 on pump gas and 11.7 on c16 with half tank mix.

Congrats to AL. He made a few consistent 11.2 passes.
BTW, who ran 11sec with the stock turbo? Are you on this board?
