New Dyno Sheet on Buschur Stage 4
Hey guys - here is yet another example of the mastery of Buschur Racing products
Here is a car reaching the limits of the stock turbo through a air flow meter and doing it with a flat power band - totally flat from 5500 to 700 rpms - the pwoer did not fall off even one bit all the way across
This is a complete Buschur Stage 4 w/ c16 gas - Buschur Flash ecu upgrade
AWD dyno numbers
This compares very well with the 372 whp figures I got on the Buschur 2wd dyno in the dead of winter with the same flash
Note - this car was still running very rich for race fuel with more power left on the table to help create the super - silky - smooth power band
A very "snappy" car to drive with crisp throttle response and loads of low end trq
I don;t think any other evos out there are laying down smooth and steady dyno sheets that look like ours

Sorry if this is common knowledge.. but what happens when your not running C16? Do you have a switch to toggle through programs, does he need a spare ecu or can he just drop boost down?
I ran a race chip on my TT, but had the ability to toggle through various programs (stock, 93 octane program, and 100octane).. The difference between my 93octane and 100octane program was the timing advancement.. The tuner was requesting the same amount of boost for both programs (19psi) and turned up timing for race gas.. Whats the difference between your race and street programs?

With the price of regular 93 pump gas going up to over $2.00 - its not that much of a strech to run c-16 all the time - several of our customers also drive around on the pump gas with super low boost and only get on it at the track
Probably the most sane appraoch is to stick with our pump gas version which is down about 15 - 20 whp lower than these numbers but which you can hammer on a daily basis on pump gas
The main thing is that the Buschur Flash is available in a 11.99 second 350 plus awd version for c-16 and also in a low 12 second pump gas version - you can order it either way - nust not both ways at once if you get my drift

If you can't toggle through programs, this really makes no sense considering C16 is hard to come by and what? about $6 a gallon... I guess if you never drive the car or live next to a gas station with race gas no worries.. ****.. Last time I ran race gas I remember seeing my mpgs drop down to around 10mpgs on the highway (down from 20mpgs).. definitely becomes a pretty expensive habit..
On a seperate note.. Have you tuned any cars with water injection? If so what kind of results are you getting?

For reference here is a Buschur Flash Stage 3 with PUMP GAS MAP - on higher boost with race fuel :
And then the same car with the same tune at 20 psi and pump gas
There are gains to be had just using the race fuel on occassion with the pump gas map - just turn up the boost slightly
However the absolute best performance is found with the race gas map
The main point here is to show some relly nice looking dyno sheets and show the power we are making not dicker about the cost of fuel. Some of our customers use the evo as a 2nd or 3rd car and drive only occassionaly. Obviously, if you are commuting to work every day in traffic the race gas map is not for you.

Awesome!
You guys are doing great work. I have Stage 4 with the 94 octane Buschur flash and I absolutely love it. It makes tons of power and lots of torque. I think it is running a little rich so I am heading up to Quantum Racing on Thursday for some fine tuning with the SAFCII.
Regarding the Pump flash vs the race flash...
If it is your everyday car like mine,
you will still make more power by using Race gas with the 94 pump gas flash. All you would need to do is increase the boost and fine tune with an SAFCII etc. Is that not correct?
thanks again for all the great work... I love my Buschur parts and my 94 octane flash
