My DYNO Results with Fireball 2
My DYNO Results with Fireball 2
I got 226.9WHP with mail in DYNOFLASH and full-exhaust with 93. A stock EVO has around 187.9WHP. So as result I gained about 41WHP and 45ftlb torque for $1300 with flash. There was stage 0+ of Event Horizon with similar mods to me that got 243WHP which is 16WHP better than my car but he had a custom tune with 10 plus runs.
In the end my $200 flash delivired results I am happy with.

All those mods and only 226whp? Do you have your A/F printout Snoop?
My car only put down 200whp with CB exhaust, K&N drop-in and Dynoflash Mail in, and I was pretty bummed to say the least. Especially considering right before my car ran a Stock EVO put down 220whp.
Why the hell do Dyno Dynamics Dynos read so low?

Look at the chart.
What is more important is how the car feels and powerband.

Then mine gets 200whp with mods on the same dyno.

Here's where I went:http://www.dyno-comp.com
At Dyno-Comp, Vivid Racing's stock EVO put down 232whp.

I witnessed myself, a stock EVO put down 225whp at Dyno-Comp.
Following that car, my car ran and put out a measly 200whp with roughly $900 in mods.

I am just wondering why it is that my car has less WHP than other cars around here. $900 in mods got me -25whp.
I hate my car.

Thats why I prefer the dyno jet for whp comparision as there is nothing to change

There is some good logic there... whether I agree with it or not...

Remember when cameras had lux ratings? There was no industry standard. One camera company had a totally different scale than another. The same is true with all dynos. You'll see some dyno dynamics systems that are more ego friendly: Dyno comp, and ones that read lower: Dyno4mance. The same is true with dynojets. Pruven is really high, where Alamo is a little low. Even Dynapacks. TurboXS reads higher than any other dyno I can think of inthe country, while Knowledge in Woodstock, GA is a heartbreaker.
Snoop is right. His car is not low, the dyno just reads lower than most of us are accustomed to seeing. For the best accuracy and comparison, you can only compare cars run on the same dyno. I put down 301whp at Alamo, and 263 at Dyno4mance.
I hope you find this technical information helpful.
An important point to remember is that the $199.99 Dyno Flash uses stock boost
Any comparsision to an Exede based tune is not relevant as the Exede can alter boost
A better comparision is to compare the Dyno Flash with Buschur MBC - total outlay like $260 which can hold 19 psi to red line
A better compardison would be a base through the mail Xflash to a off the shelf Dyno Flash
The full custom Dyno Flash usually picks up a significant amount of power over the through the mail flash
Becuase of the significant car to car variance and also due to the variance in fuels from location to location, when tuning through the mail we muct detune the maps significantly - expecially in the upper rpm ranges in order to keep them smooth and maintain a significant margin or error
I am very interested in my upcomming trip to SanFransico during which I will be comparing my personally custom tuned reflashes to the local products I can find there

Shiv, you have already been asked to not post in this forum. We don't want to have to hand out warnings to Vendors. But we will do it if you continue to disregard the Vendor conduct agreement. Please keep in mind that we would do the same exact editing/deleting if another Vendor stepped into your forum and caused problems. SC~

- Vendors should not make accusations about other vendors or their products. If a member states information about your product, please correct any misinformation without comparing to other specific products and leave it at that. This helps prevent any inflammatory posts from starting.
- Vendors should not respond publicly on the forums to what may be seen as another vendor’s / user's accusations towards you or your product/company. These should be handled via pm, or by reporting the thread to a Moderator so that we can take care of the thread/post.
- Vendors should not say that their product is better than another vendor’s.

If the Vishnu guys can't stop antagonizing and bickering about results in this section, then I'll be forced to prevent access to this forum. Same thing would apply to anyone else that wants to start up bickering and deter from useful discussions in this forum. Everyone has their own truths/religions/beliefs/whatever. You can't convert or make people think another way.... centainly not this way. Just because a person feels a certain issue is important and drags around to each area does not mean the whole of the community cares as well. Please don't drag this war to this site. It's personal, so keep it that way.
People would like to see a shootout, so if the two tuners can agree to someting, I'm sure that could be arranged. I would be happy help with that as well under the condition that this bickering must stop! I'm so tired of it...
