A "tuned" SAFC vs. Dyno Flash
Here is a really nice guy from www/evo-ny.com who had his very lovely Evo "tuned" by another local shop with a SAFC II on a dyno
I gave him the Dyno Flash test at the last Dyno Day we had at Pruven
Here is his tale of the tape
As you can see the SAFC is a very inadequate tuning tool on an Evo 8
Not only was the power band rough and unsmooth - there was no power and no trq
The post tune gains show some serious improvements in power and also a much more powerful car
