Yes I called you 5 times because you did not send me the tracking number and I had no idea when my ECU will get here. I had to call you to give you my Work address although you promised to call back. I had no tracking number and I had no idea what boost I am running. You are still not reading my pm's and my post right I did not threat you at all. I had like 5 pm's saying please like 100 times before I gave up so don’t come and $%%$#% me saying that I am treating you. I have been nice to you and you took my money with nothing, nothing in return. Good luck with your customers.

 

He does have good luck with his customers, but it does seem as though babysitting may not be his forte. Just follow protocall and send the ecu back for your refund but don't make this another zealots crusade to bring down Al.

 

I am responding is defense of Al's Customer service. I was at his last tune session in LA. There are many owners of these great cars that don't have a clue. I personnally witnessed Al treat each of these guys with the utmost of respect, and answer all their question in layman terms. (He had much more understanding and patients than I would have.)
As far as going beyond, I only have myself as an example.
Al ASKED ME to come back to LA in July to check my custom tune because I had a misaligned injector and he did the best he could with what he had to work with. Then After I returned to my house and fixed the injector, he asked me to do some datalog runs and send the ECU to hinm so he could tweek the timing, (FREE). Now he is going to do ANOTHER custom tune (FREE) (he just going to check it and tweek if required), to make sure his product is the best it could be.
I'd say in Az3Ar's situation, there was a communication problem. I know Al's work. He WILL NOT send out anything thru the mail that could potentially damage an engine due to being too agressive. I believe Az3Ar couldn't wait (because his car wasn't running 100%) and went to Vishnu. Now, of course, he doesn't want to flash back to stock and wipe his Vishnu flash, but you need to see things from a buisness standpoint. Meet him in LA and get your money, I'll bet he'll even be nice to you.
Remember: You can't make everybody happy all the time

 

I am tierd of posting about this silly cusomter service. I am happy that my car is running by Shiv and its so smoth and so fast and over all safe and not rish or LEAN to extract some fake HP.

I think al's policy is rock solid, and honestly this is the first "real" complaint i've ever seen, i mean we had evo 8 ya around here, but that was just a mishap..i think he took back all the stuff he posted as it was just a communication error.....i dunno...

From when i've talked to al over the last few days, he was all legit, going to refund you, until you kept trying to blackmail him, and to be quite honest, i myself would get mad. so i know why you received that pm.....

blackmail is illegal, and trying to persuade al to do whatever you say....maybe you should have not tried to blackmail him.

 

You know what guys I am done with this. I am happy with my car and not happy with AL customer service. bottom line

 

guess you can't please everyone, at least your car runs good!

 

I think that anyone that has ever worked even a minute of customer service can attest that you cannot please them all.

Al, give the guy his money back. I would also be a little pissed off that he went up to Vishnu and had Shiv delete your Dynoflash like it was the black plague. Worse case scenario could be that Az3ar sold his ECU to another guy with an Evo, but who would want it and how much would he get. Not much because it is a semi-custom tune which made his car run bad. Also, since everything on that ECU was erased by Shiv how would you even know that it was the ECU that you originally flashed. Do you engrave them with some kind of secret squirl markings or an invisible spray. Probably not. Do yourself and your company a favor and give Az3ar his money back.

Maybe Al has his secret way of figuring out who took his dynoflash??? I am the only one who has ATP kit until now. Who would use your in mail flash on stock turbo or any other EVO.

 

I don’t know. I just don’t feel comfortable sending my ECU to him any more not with this customer service. I mean in 3 years I might be back to the east cost and if Al was as nice and stood up behind his product as I though he would I would of used him to dyno flash my car because i would be close to him. But now there is no way on earth that I want him to touch my car. I DONT FELL COMFRTABLE.

 

Just send back the ECU and get your money back.
