AL, do you deal with utec

do you tune utec, and if you do, could you get them at a better price or offer a buy and tune package?

I have done a few UTEC's - in the initial hype phase - however - after plaing with them in the CURRENT level of adjustability - it makes little sense as you an ge vitually the same results with a reflash at a much lower price. In fact - until they get th injector controls working - which I hear they have just released on beta testing - I'd say the reflash can get a bettr result as you do not wind up with the fuel map switching constantly from map 1 to map 2 and altering your fueling. Finally - static ignition timing and , user defined, knock control are grea features for finding that extrqa 10 whp - but IMHO - on a daily driver street car - I would perfer to stick with the factory knock control settings - they work really well at protecting your investment

With all that said - as a previous Dyno Flash customer - if you want a re-tune full custom flash on the dyno its only $350. Through the mail base flashes are free for life

As far as the UTEC we sell them at slightly dicounted rates and Kenny at Pruven is an expert at tuning them

If you wanted to get the UTEC - I would give you a free UFlash base flash upgared to sue with it and get you an appointment at Pruven to get it tuned

Personally - I do not really like the UTEC as a tuning option - it does not really offer you any serious advantages over a regular reflash and it costs a lot more.

Speaking for myself - IF I were going to spend that kind of money - for the UTEC and Tuner - I would just spend a little more and get the AEM and new wideband guage set up. The AEM EMS is not for everyone as it takes a LOT of time tuning and adjusting to get th car working decent and it willnever have the driveability of a stock car - BUT it does hav the advanage of being able to take care of a lot of gea functions ha o can not get with any other unit

Anyway - osrry or the long post - in short either way you want to go give me a call and we can take care of you
