My Next Addition To My Evo Is Going To Be One Of These Two Options

2. Bov

I Need Some Feedback On Which One I Should Get.

I Want The Power From The Dynoflash But I Also Want The Sound From The Bov. I Know Someone It Going To Come Back And Say Get Both But I Cant, Im In The Process Of Bying A House So I Can Only By One Thing For My Toy At A Time!!!!!

if you are going w/ a vta bov (other then the gfb or similar) you will experience stalling issues etc. Not to mention, you will get no real hp increase if the rest of your car is stock.

Go w/ the flash if you are looking for a fun / better driving experience. If you want stalling issues and that woooush sound, then a vta bov is in your future.

you can also get the turbo smart 60/40 valve, its 60% recirc, and 40% blow off, for the sound happy guys. but it has enough to keep the ecu satisfied.

You really don't want a bov... anyway, your choice.

Dude....why spend 200 on something that does NOT give you more power???

Screw the BOV and get the Dynoflash Tune...it's WAY worth it!

Well the Dyno Flash is a stealh mod which only helps you go fast - but a vta bov can make lots of noise and make you sound cool - tough choice

Plus, if you want to hear your very own stock BOV, just put on an inexpensive intake (like Buschur) and you'll hear a great sounding stock spool and blow-off. Then get Dynoflashed and *voila!* you haven't wasted money and you're car is faster!

Very true AL! LOL

Honestly wprettyboy...go with the Dynoflash. Hell...if you can afford it do the Dynoflash and the Buschur Intake too...then you will have a slightly louder BOV then stock and more power for like 280. I know buying a house is a major expense...but come weekends...while your driving...nothing will beat the rush when you hammer down that pedal!!!

depends: http://www.dynoflash.com/services.htm

Keep in mind part of the "cost" for a mail-in is down time, no Evo for a couple of days...

Just thought I'd add that I found it funny that post to post you went from Capping Every Word to no caps at all BTW, Dynoflash = undeniable power.

well, IMO why would you get Dynoflashed when your stock BOV cant handle the boost of the car(stock). what makes you think it can hold the boost with the Flash?
i rather get the BOV to make sure my car can hold boost, then get it flashed later down the line.....

Without a BC and or turbo back / cat back I have yet to see anyone claim the stock DV cannot handle 'stock' boost.

This is not correct for several reasons:
- The stock BOV is ok up to a point (and that point is higher than stock settings)
- The Dynoflash does not necessarily increase boost - it just controls taper (a boost controller increases boost)
- The stock car is told by the ECU to taper boost in higher rpms... it's not the BOV's fault

- I run with a custom Dynoflash, plus a boost controller set at 21.5 good for 300whp and 325wtq, and my stock BOV handles it just fine.
- Most people I personally know who are Dynoflashed run stock BOV.
