will dynoflash allow to get more mileage on gas

One of my buddy is currently having AFC II, he said since it has been adjust his fuel and air ratio, his mileage has been improved alot, I am wondering if dynoflash will do the same, does it adjust air/fuel as one of the features for $199? or can I get both dynoflash and AFC II, do they integrate with each other? or won't work together at all.

A dynoflash is by far a better option IMO. The AFC only fools the ECU that the air coming into the engine is less to lean out the car or vice versa. The dynoflash can alter your RPM band,Eliminate fuel cut, and tuned for your specific mods. You can use the AFC in conjunction with a flash, but it would be a waste of money.

So according to your analysis, dynoflash already adjust the air/fuel ratio which made stock running little leaner than before since you mentioned AFC is just waste of money, I'm assuming dynoflash has that features PLUS RPM bank, fuel cut etc....

Well let me reclarifiy what i said earlier. The AFC is not a waste of money in general, but a Dynoflash will give you more features that only a standalone or piggy back could give you. The AFC can only do so much and has its limits. The Dynoflash is changing more things to your benefit.

There is no reason not to get the Dynflash and the AFC. If you can afford it. That way your base fuel maps are tweaked to perfection (and they will be with Al's flash) and you can tune for race gas with the AFC if you want. It's not a bad combo.

My Dynoflash improved my mileage slightly. When I can keep out of the throttle that is.

Jab,

For the money he will spend on a Dynoflash coupled with an AFC, he might as well step up to a Utec or an Exede. He then will get his moneys worth, and be able to tune any new modifications to his car.
