Re-Flash at Higher Elevations Al?

Al, I have a few people around here in Salt Lake City with Apexi-Super AFC's II and they can only lean the car out when running race gas. They are running 20 psi with a manual boost controller. I was thinking about buying an AFC, but if I can only use it with race gas, what's the point. Do you know of any issues with your reflash in the upper elevations(5,000ft)? I have a similar setup running 20 psi with a manual controller. Detail in my signature. Anyway, Running 20 psi on 91 octane at 5,000ft can you lean the car out for a safe tune through your dyno flash? Any info would be great. I would love to get a street tune done by yourself, but no one with EVOs around here believes in reflashes. So trying to gather 5 people up here is a chore. Any info would be great. Thanks

Check the above post. I've run a mail-in 91 octane flash at 5800ft and the results are in that thread.

Just out of curiousity what kind of 1/4 times are you running?

Are you the guy that went 11.8 @ 118 at Bandi a few weeks ago?

That was me. Got the boot after that run. The car's capable of much better but my launch was terrible. Any one have any idea that an 11.8 at 6000ft would be at sea level? What does altitude cost you in the 1/4 mile?

Multiply your ET by .9702
Multiply your MPH by 1.0281

That should get you pretty close. Those are the FI NHRA correction factors.

Those are some great times. Did you run those times on 91 octane?
