questions for al

Hi al, I talked to you a while ago about the typhoon (which i did take back off) and a couple minutes ago on the phone. I have $1100 to spend. what mod combonation will get me the most horsepower from a flash( mail in) for that ammout of $? Thanks in advance!
michael

My personal choices:
either a HKS hi power exhaust ($510) or the 3" Bushur($450)
HKS dp ($350) or the Bushur($300)
Bushur off road pipe?
Hallman bc ($95) or Profec b ($300)
k&n drop in ($65) or HKS rs ($300)
also will have to get a boost gauge ($125) and pod ($ depends) if I go with the mbc.
also what about a walboro fuel pump ($100)
Let me know if there are better options! Thanks again

I know your asking Al, but you cannot beat Buschur's $-hp ratio.

I would do the Hallman pro MBC, Walbro Pump and a Buschur Cat back with a UR high flow cat - with the Dyno Flash = just under your $1100 and should be about 280 to the wheels with 300 ft lbs

Yes. The Autometer line definately gets the job done. There are "nicer" gauges (read: electronic) but I use the Ultra-Lite. The silver background looks nice with my aluminum steering wheel. Not to mention the backlighting matches pretty good with the OEM cluster.

Thanks for all your thought so far) I guess UR stands for ultimate Racing. any reason why they are better than bushur? If it's 280at the wheels, how much would that be at the crank? Should i just get the full turbo back from bushur while i'm at it, or would the downpipe not add too much hp? thanks

If your going to use Buschur's exhaust, you would be better off just getting the whole thing from him. IE: Complete turbo back.

The Walbro 255lph didn't affect my mileage. But then again, I avg. about 5-6K a year on my EVO
