Dynoflash tuned Evo - goes 11.90 and 3rd place in DSM shootout with reflash !

Congradulations to Evodave who was custom tuned with me on Saturday with a very conserative a/f of 11.0 / 1 and very conserative ign timing figures and who was able to run a amazing 11.90 and take 3rd place in the DSM shootout!

Way to go !

Imagine if he was running a race tune and with high boost !

OH YEAH AL!!! haha i was just about to setup a thread to tell everyone about this...hehe Its great ...11.9 at 118.5 with a 1.8 60ft cause of those beefy 18X9 kinesis rims and kumho tires....lol (couldn't really get outta the hole) the act clutch actually did ok....i only ran the flash and the custom turbo kit me and www.slickmotorsports.com made (that got finished on friday morning at 5 am ....lol. I tossed in some good gas and 25psi with the 93 octane conservative DYNOFLASH tune...AWESOME ! Beleive me there is more to come....28psi, magnus intake manifold , throttlebody and retune (maybe some light 17s ) i would bet low 11s are possible at 122-124 mph. Keep in mind guys (daily driver, 18 inch rims , full interior, pump gas tune and a made up turbo kit that cost under $2000 and got made in less then 2 days...lol and we hit 11s at almost 119mph first time out! and we are NO professionals....luckly for me Al (dynoflash) and matt (slickmotorsports) are !

Just ran tonight for the heck of it with a full tank of 93 octane pump gas at 21.5psi and conservative a/f's....went 12.4 at 113.89 with me driving.....LOL and that was at podunk dragway 42. In my opinion thats great cause before at the same track i went a best of 12.8 at 111 on race gas and 26 psi on stock turbo...again me driving. That is impressive if you know how i shift....aka (like sh*t).

its a gt3037 with a .63 (small) backside aka exhaust housing...it allows a quicker spoolup (20psi by 4000rpms) with only a little loss of top end. I still think (and hopefully will soon show people ) that this turbo is good for 450-480awhp stock head (besides cams and bolts) and stock bottom end with fast spoolup and a reflash.

THANKS GUYS!!! I am doin my best ....finally gettin somewhere. I wanna see low 11s or at least mid 11s with still totally stock drivablities and no standalone worrys...we will see. Its a lot harder to run 11s and faster than it seems.....lol

Is that intake pipe and upper IC piping custom made, or did you purchase it somewhere? Looks really nice BTW; and great times!!
