BCS problem

I called Dynoflash to see if reflashing my ECU would fix this problem and was told no and to post the question here, so here goes.

While installing a boost controler my buddy just unplugged the boost control solenoid and took it out of the car, which is common practice for most turbo cars. Well as is common knowledge it brought up the check engine light. Well instead of putting the BCS back on he tried just using a resistor which caused a spark and ever since there's been no electricity going to those wires. So I tried plugging the stock BCS back in but that didn't do anything. I'd clear the code and it would just come right back. So I've looked for a fuse that maybe was blown and no luck so I'm at the end of my rope. I need to get this thing fixed, Anyone? know how to fix this problem?

First do a continuity test from the end of the BCS plug to the ecu - then report those results here

He probably toasted the BCS ground sensor track on the ECU board.

in thought u r supposed to leave the stock selenoid attached but plugged. Let's hope it's ur fuses. Don't worry. I always forget to unplug my battery and ALWAYS blow a fuse.

Sorry about the long delay in replying but I had a family emergency and had to leave town. Anyway, I tested it and there seems to be power getting to the BCS now though I could have sworn before there wasn't. Both leads give 12v of power. I checked for continuity between the ecu and the plug and it didn't work but I think the the pinout diagram I have is wrong since I am getting power when I plug the harness back in and connect the battery. So now what do I do?
