It feels pretty good! Obviously it has a bit slower spool up but it's hard to really gauge exactly how much later the boost threshold is because the there is more lag with this turbo. Once boost begins to build it builds very quickly. The boost gauge needle pegs at 20psi very quickly.
One thing I've noticed is that this turbo exposes the weakness of the 1G BPV that I've got. It doesn't like to close consistantly so occasionally it'll taper a couple of PSI. First I'm going to pressure test rule out any leaks then I think I'm going to try crushing the valve. Eventually I need to find a better solution. I'd like to tinker with an electrically actuated BPV valve.
