Thanks Dynoflash, Al is the man!!!!!!!
Al, I was at pruven on Sat, you tuned my car Friday night (the blue one) and I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my car! Your flash is just incredible!
Super smooth power band from idle to redline (the car hammers hard when i hit boost), it's just awsome! This was my second flash from you and I am impressed for the second time! Please keep up the good work, you will definetly be retuning my car come spring time!
BTW: you make me wanna mod the hell outta my car!

Nice #'s
Yo 2Slo, Memo and Gestalt. It was good to see you guys at Pruven, lots of fun sitting around talking EVO's (and waiting for Big Al to get his *** in gear. j/k
). I think I saw everyone's Dyno Sheet except Memo's but nice numbers. I pulled a 304Whp/330Lb/ft run. My dad drove the car home on the Merritt Parkway, and even he said it was incredible.
Again, good seeing all you fellaz, maybe we'll see each other again at the shootout this saturday. Peace.
P.S. I took a pic on the way back home of a brand new yellow Porsche Carrera GT. Pic was on camera phone (very ****ty) but I will try to post here with my dynosheet.

Memo3 whats up man, yea i set back the boost to 20-21 psi! It peaks like 21 in 2nd and 3rd gear and holds around 19-20, but in forth it holds steady 20psi! The car is flying now with cams and the flash! So how's everything else man I hope you set your boost back as well! Are you enjoying your car!
Makaveli 31, glad to hear your car is running great! I love the way your car sounds with that cam setup, sounds wicked at idle!
It was great to meet you guys, unfortunatly I can't go to the shootout
but i'll be at the track in new york this week, hopefully running some good times!

Its guys like you all that make this a great business to me in.
We try super hard to get the car making as much power as it can support - SMOOTHLY - and keeping safe a/f and ignition timing parameters which will not lead to any long term engine reliabiliy issues and / or engine failures. I think our reliabiliy record supports our additude of conservative engine tuning.
While we do provide free advice on mod selection and instalation. And we do offer instalation work through Pruven Performance. However, in many cases the customers select and install their own parts.
As a tuner, we have to work with what we get on the dyno. Often mismatched parts or poorly installed pats lead to sub par results. Also - in many cases, mechanical issues such as boost leaks and other problems reduce the power out put.
I raise these points to highlight that the vast magority of or customers get excelent results and our product works as promised.
However - there are cases where instalation problems and / or mechnaical issues work against a particular car making X amount of whp on the dyno and it needs some TLC and diagnostic work to figure out what is wrong and fix it.
While we had many satisfied customers this weekend - we did did have one very unsatisfied individual who was not happy with his power (380 whp) - expected more (460) and did not want to listen when I suggested that he had some mechanical issues - e.g. bad boost controller, boost leak or failing turbo. As a ecu tuner - when we reflash we adjust the settings in the ecu. We can ONLY get you a decent result if the mechanical systems on your car are working properly.
This all does not apply to the original poster 0 but it was on my mind so I figured i would post it here
Thanks again for the words of support
Al, it's funny talking about how some people just mismatch parts and get subpar results, I was thinking about the parts i am using, the br tb, hks cams, and your reflash, they go together like a burger w/ fries and your flash being a pepsi to wash it all down! Yea can't beat that! Thanks again,

I know you're not a weather man AL. And i wasn't asking your predict the weather.
I am assuming that you are somehow affiliated with this event. And because the WEATHERMAN on the weather channel is saying that they are forecasting thunderstorms i was just asking you if you had any info if it does get rained out and if there will be a reschedule.

1 - Boost leak
2 - Bad boost controller
3 - Mechanical porblems
4 - Bad turbo
I suggested a boost leak test and compression test to attempt to diagnose the mechanical boost issues which were causing the car to run lower boost than expected - even with the boost controller set to max level. (Note - this turbo should make over 30 psi of boost with ease with boost controller all the way down)
We tuned an identical car with same turbo that made over 500 whp and well over 30 psi of boost with total ease - which leads me to believe that this particular car was having boost issues
The customer stated that he could not afford to conduct further testing at that time
I am certainly qualified to diagnose boost leaks and problems with turbos. When we are at a dyno day at Pruven - certainly its a great opportunity to have Pruven conduct testing - THEY are certainly experts in this field.
However - we can not undertake diagnostic testing without the customer's approval
Sadly in this case - this particular customer is slightly unbalanced and would prefer to bash people on the internet than take steps to correct his vehicluar problems

KEVIN
this car does not have any failing parts....i has the full stage 4 kit with the 500 turbo....boost hit 28.5 psi on the way home.....i hoep were not planning on tuning more than that....the turbo is 2 months old, it better not be broken.....i have a feeling it has to deal wth tunning rather than parts from what i am aware of..
"keep this day between us" you said to me when i left....

You refuse to accept reality and deal with physical laws
The car can not make good power if its not holding boost and if your boost controller is not working
Here at Dyno Flash - when we see a car is not working properly - we stop and take a step back to see what is wrong
THE ONLY TIME THAT WE HAVE A OBLIGATION TO PRODUCE A SPECIFIC WHP figure is when we sold the parts - installed the parts and tuned the car for the customer.
When you buy your own parts and work on the car yourself - then ALL WE DO is tune the car on the dyno - thats all
We adjust the ecu settings to correct the a/f ratio and ign timing
If the car is not making proper boost or has machanical issues - THAT IS A SEPERATE ISSUE
Finally - if you had some disatisfaction or concern you should have raised it here directly with me and Pruven. That way we coul;d have taken steps to attempt to resolve your concerns. By handling things the way you do - say nothing while you are here and then go home and start posting insults on the internet - you assure yourself that we are now 100% uninteretsed in helping you with this problem.
He cant go to another tuner,He has burnt his bridges,Ah CRIPE he's stuck in the 12'''s forever
