Introducing Fireball 4 !

Guys - here is my latest inovation in reflash technology - the Fireball 4

Applications - high octane 100 unleaded or better

Here is a recent example of this reflash on the dyno

Mods - HKS RS KIT - HKS 264 cams - Walbro Pump - 3 " exhuast - MBC

(STOCK PARTS - turbo, fmic, fmic pipes, injectors, fuel rail, engine - except cams).

Basically we have figured out some ways to unleash much more power from the stock ecu and mass air flow sensor and here are the results

This version of our through the mail and custom tune works in this manner.

Option 1 - use high octane fuel all the time - 100 octane or better

Option 2 - purchase a used 2nd ecu from a wrecked evo or but one new from us at dealer cost (about $650). Have your key codes and imobilizer codes programed into the ecu (delaer service) and then you will have TWO SEPERATE ecus that will run your car. You simply swap them back and forth depending on the gas you are using. We provide you BOTH tunes for the same $199 for the mail in flash - OR $500 for a fully tuned custom reflash with both the pump gas and the race gas tune. In other words - the Fireball 4 tune for high octane is free along with your Dyno Flash on your primary pump gas ecu. If you can find a 2nd ecu from a wrecked evo at a reasonable price then you can put the whole set up together for a very reasonable price.

This Fireball 4 is ideal for the sportsman user who does ocassional road racing or drag racing but still uses the car on a daily basis

Here is the dyno sheet - we are approaching the potential of full stand alone systems with the stock ecu and with stock like driveability

Here is Fireball 3 (pump gas) and Fireball 4 (high octane) on the same car - same day

With Dyno Flash - now you can get both tunes on your car for the same price and be able to run either pump gas or race gas

ONLY Dyno Flash has the technological inovation to unlock the secrets of the factory ecu code and make this kind of power on the stock turbo and fmic - IN A SAFE MANNER

We talked about the pump gas tune at E-Town. I took it out on the highway once to adjust the boost and it feels smooth, but going from that race gas tune to anything less isn't going to feel very fast anymore. If you want to fix the rich spots at 5000-6000 and 6600-redline, I think the tune would run a little stronger. If I can find a second ecu I'll ship you that one and the one I have in now, that way you can tweak the pump gas map and put the race gas map into the second ecu.

Sounds like a plan. Maybe some of those guys with AEM's will be looking to sell thier stock ecus ? Otherwise there are many stock ecus in the auto salvage yards

Al, what kind of boost can you run with the stock turbo and 100 octane? Can you run 24-25 psi? I am thinking about your fireball 4 flash!

The bost is not limited so long as you have the right fuel

Running that much boost, you might want to look into ARP headstuds as well. It's cheap insurance on your motor.

Yea, that will be an upgrade very soon, i am only running 20-21 psi right now so I should be fine. but i like the idea of the 2 seperate ecu's, so when the time comes i will be looking to up the boost!

BTW Rebel, Nice et and trapspeed!
What type of fuel and how much boost were you running on that 12.2 run at e-town at the shootout?

I was running 26 psi of boost tapering off to 22.5 psi on the top-end. The stock turbo can get a decent boost spike down low, but it just can't hold any boost at higher rpms. Some of the people I talked to at E-Town that were running low 12's with the AEM and stock turbo were running 29 lbs!

I like the ET, but the trap speed is a little low. I think its because I was short shifting the car. The one run I bogged the launch I gained .5 mph, but even that trap is a little low. I did gain over 25 mph in the back 1/8 though.
