Parden my ignorance, but what is base flash install?

 

There are a couple types of tunes. A custom tune is just that.. He custom tunes your ECU to every spec of your particular vehicle; takes about 2.5 hours +. A base flash is equal to a mail-in flash that is tuned for a conservitave tune given the mods you have. It takes much less time and gains a little less HP; but still accomplishes many of the things people want tuned. It cleans up the A/F ratios, it raises the rev limit slightly, it removes the speed limiter, makes adjustments for aftermarket products, etc. The base flash costs significantly less as well; but will never yeild the perfection of a custom tune.
