11 second flashed evo update
Just wanted to update the people who know me and my car. I have yet to make it back to the track but have done a few things. I have messed with the plumbing a bit as i found i had a boost leak on the intake side and who knows how long that was there. I also got rid of my heavier wheels and tires . As many of you know i ran 11.9 first time out with a horrible 1.89 60ft cause of no traction from the power and the 18X9 kinesis rims and crappy (for racing) kumho mx's . I sold those and got 17X9 matte black 5 zigens with 245 40 17 continental contisport 2's .....WOW what difference.
The difference in about 7-9lbs per corner and rotating mass is HUGE. Also, the tires have so much traction its sick. It pulls so hard along with fixing the intake leak that was occuring at full throttle. My plan was/is to get my twin disc carbon exedy clutch in (out with the junky act) and do a sheet metal intake manifold and throttle body upgrade (hard to do with stock ecu though on the throttle body tps voltage). Then get my second ecu tuned for actual race gas timing adjustment since when we ran the 11s previously it was on a 93 octane flash with very conservative a/f's and timing .
Basically my goal is to hit low 11s at around 123-125mph wiht stock head (besides cams and headbolts) and stock bottom end with a ecu flash. The only limiting factor is that i have a .63 a/r exhaust side so my turbo is super powerful and effecient on pump gas and hits 22 psi by 4100rpms if not sooner. We will see i guess. I only need so see 4mph more to get at or around 124 mph and that should definitely get me low 11s as long as my new tire and wheel combo gets me some 1.6 60ft times. Only time will tell...!

yes the .63 a/r exhaust side is the back side of the turbo...it helps spool up a lot with smaller exhaust sides but effects the top end a bit as power levels go up.

oh none really...just going to be getting to around 500whp on race gas and i feel that may be a little over the limit...it still holds pretty good now if you don't slip it too much
