Wtf was the point of posting Turbo Trix's accomplishments in a thread about Al's run?

People just trying to start ****, purely for the drama... imo, that's ignorant.

I have to agree with SterlingEvo.... who cares?

I think he needs to post more and stir up the pot. It gets a little stale every now and then.

I never said ANYTHING that would in any way compare the two of you. I posted that because it was a great drag racing accomplishment, which was the theme of this thread.

Hell, the honda that you were racing, that took you outta the hole is a great accomplishment too.

Your ego is the only problem here.

Be happy with what you have accomplished and compliment others for what they have done for the sport and the cause. Then have a , and chill.

No one is out to get you!

I have nothing but respect for the guy from Sloatsburg with the Silver Honda - XXX Racing - he is a very good drag racer and his car is very reliable and consistant and he has won a lot of races this year.

However - I think the NOPI rules are ridiculous when a 3350 lbs car like mine with street tires has to race against a class of 2600 lbs Hondas with giant drag slicks - hardly sporting - - - STILL my 10.59 was good enough to qualify 8th in the middle of the field !

The Honda weighs 2290lbs in that trim. Typical Turbo GSR setup. Around 600 WHP. Bets time is 9.84 @ 151. Could be as streetable as Al's car if I wanted to be. Hey Al, you don't think the AWD is a bit of an offset for the weight of the car? I don't see Ali Ashafar complaining when he busts a mid 9 off in our class.

Don't know why all this **** came about. The thing is that Al's car is an inspiration for all of us that have an Evo and want to be fast. Al's car is great and has demostrate that if some one want a fast daily driven car it can be possible. Al's car is completelly different to Turbo Trix car that also is a fast car but is another thing.

The CRX is sick. I love it. Saw it at Moroso and got to talk to you guys for a little bit. Good guys, but you should have bought a evo

Als car is definately pretty sick as well. Can't beat a mid 10 sec full street car.

Good points and well taken. I personally feel the class at NOPI is mixing cars that should not be in the same class. However - I do intend to try and find the path to get my car going into the 9's on street tires and no NOS This is my quest!

In the mean time you are Mr. Hunt are doing a very comendable job !

Yeah, AWD and WrongWheel-Drive isn't really an equal comparison.

And stock AWD with weak half shafts and stock diffs and stock street radials - vs. build drag honda with giant slicks

I would be pleased to meet this honda at a red light somewhere sometime on the real street !

There are no weight limitations right now and you can run ET Streets or any other dot slick like Turbotrix and the other guy use. You can go a lot faster still in that class. However I understand this is your actual street car while that class is a class mostly for streetable race cars.

For now my goal is to have an Evo I can drive all over the road and lay a hurting on just about any road driven car I may encounter - be it Viper, Enzo - what ever

I am sure that next year I may go more into the drag only direction

In the meantime I want to explore a 9.99 run with my Toyo radial road racing tires and the stock breaks and suspension in tact

I'm honestly sorry I posted that . I agree in retrospect that the picture was in poor taste. I also wasn't aware I could be banned for something so relatively trivial or I wouldn't have even thought of it. I do, however, feel that hijacking posts that are meant to be congratulatory is also in poor taste. Next time, please PM me and I'll remove it immediately. Oops, I mean: There won't be a next time...

The way I see it is this: If I were to go somewhere you were showing your wedding video that you were proud of and I said "Oh yeah, well my wife has fake ***** and botox, but she's hotter -- Here's MY wedding video to prove it!"

Thanks. I agree. As you clearly know, I'm a useless, mean-spirited, evil "man". Incidentally, it's neither ignorant nor short-sighted to base one's scathing opinion of me on a single, regrettable defensive post.
