If IDC's are 100 percent that means injectors are at 100 percent duty. Reports are A/f going lean due to not enough fuel pressure on rail when you are out of pump.

What size injectors are you running at 100% DC ? Anyway this is what the peeps are saying. RC1150's on FP red at 480 ish HP and stopped upping boost cuz the car was going lean up top.

PS You might need both injectors and a pump depending on how much power you want to develop. In preparation for a Red I just started tuning some new 1260cc Lucas injectors. When Red goes in pump will be limiting factor.

I would go with the red or it would be interesting to see how the full BBK would do.

I want to go with e85 too but afraid it might not start up when temp goes -20 plus wind chills during Jan and Feb. Anyone have any issues with that? I'm looking for safe 400whp to 420whp. Wouldn't 1000cc injectors on single Walbro be good at 400whp?

Back to the future, I mean the past, whatever...

Do you get E70 in your area in the winter or E85? If E70, your chances of easily starting are improved. If E85, it may be challenging at those temps. But, I'll let the E85 users in cold climes respond, as I only have to worry down to about 40*

1,000cc injectors with single Walbro is very good for 400whp. Should be good up to about 450whp.

double pumper on a green? You should be good with just bigger injectors and a single pump.

I live in Chicago and have been using E85 all winter. Proper tuning of the cranking IPW tables goes a long way. It isn't going to be perfect at -20, but you should be able to get it started without too much trouble.

That's a good question. I've researched this quite a bit. Have you tried Merlins ECU Tuning Guide?

I'm on FIC 1100 High Z at
360
240
120
80
47.4
14.4
3.704

I'm still having to feather the throttle. I assume that it means that it needs less fuel, but I've been too lazy to mess with it lately.

OK. I will also bite the bullet. At 27-30PSI on E85 with a 2.0L engine, I would have to vote for the HTA Green without question, my friend.

Just an FYI to anyone reading this thread in the future. My cousin has an FP Black on a built 2.0L and running FIC 1450's with a single modded walbro 255 and BAP on e85 and put down 530whp on a Dyno Dynamics. A single 255 on an FP Green is plenty on e85.

1000CC injectors and a single Walbro is plenty for 400 whp on pump gas. Im running 93 octane and pushing 517 whp on 1100 cc injectors and single walbro.

I'm on a single Walbro at 400hp/tq on E85 at 65% IDC on FIC 1100. You should be fine.
