04 evo - e85 full time since oct 07 @ around 70k, now have 90K, just resurfaced my head because I was pushing coolant, but that was due to installing my head studs 1 at a time probably, made worse by a recent overheating. Other than that, the block is still stock and still running good (over 500whp still).

I just totaled up my E85 receipts from almost the last two years (started August of 2008), of which I ran E85 100%.

I've burned through 688 gallons of E85 so far.

Not yet. I am about to pull my injectors that I have ran 100% E85 on the last 8k miles. RC1000's. I had them out earlier with no buildup.

I'll take photos.

Converted my Evo IX MR to E85 in January of 2007. Since then I have ran it exclusively on E85 for the last 55,000 miles, car now has 62,000 miles. Car has been pushing 30psi+ since about 15K miles on and the last 12K on an fp red at 33psi+. Car runs 11.1 at 127mph 50 miles a day daily driven all season in Minnesota.

This car is most dependable thing I have ever owned, I just change oil and add fuel thats it. I have had zero E85 related issues so far, still on the same $80 walbro since converting. Blown a couple random fuses on real cold start mornings, only issues the car has had in the 62,000 miles since I bought it new. I did have to replace the clutch but that goes without saying.

I guess I have burned about 3500+ gallons of E85 fuel since I converted.

TalonFiero:
2006 EVO IX MR E85 only since Jan 2007 55,000 miles on E85 no issues at all

1995 Talon TSi AWD only 18,000 miles on E85 but e85 in original fuel system since 2005.

Very nice!

Doing the math means you are at 20.8 mpg total for both cars combined. So which ones gets the best E85 mileage?

Oh, that's just 3500 gallons in the Evo. Which is a little over 15 mpg. I can get anywhere from 10mpg on HPDE days to 19mpg on the freeway. I usually get about 190 miles per tank and fill up with 12 gallons. I used to get better mileage, after I put the FP red on I have gotten lazy and just drive the car. I bought a wideband to start tuning part throttle/cruise (lean it out) but never get a round to it.

I have never really figured out the mpg in the Talon. The Talon is a 2.4 with basically a GT35r non ball bearing (PTE) turbo.

That sounds about right. Exactly what I get. I was gonna say, an average of 20mpg on e85 would be crazy.

How in the heck can you get 10mpg during HPDE......my 330 whp car on pump gas only gets 4.5-7.5mpg on track. Granted, it is a fast track, but 10mpg is really good @ WOT!!

That was more of a guess by me, never burned a full complete tank to know for sure. I know on the dyno it burns quite a bit of fuel.
