I am planning to run E85 with my stock VIII turbo. I would like to only purchase injectors once regardless of the power levels I achieve. I am looking at the FIC 1250cc injectors both for my present as well as my future goals. Would they work fine with the stock VIII turbo? Thanks.

I want to make the switch but the mpg concerns me and purchasing a AEM standalone to run 91 on occasion is pretty expensive. I dont think my car is at that stage yet for an Standalone and I dont want to commit to just E85........

You can run E85 and 91 switching between them on the Factory ECU with map switching.

I dont have any experiance with that...I take it my Tuner will, but I would need something more on the fly.

Yes you can switch maps on the fly, flip a switch or even wired into a failsafe system, all while the car is running.

Just ask your tuner about the Tephra mods. With version 7, you can switch maps by holding the gas pedal down with the car stopped.

Cool, thanks for the info, I'll ask Mitch and see what he can do...out of curiosty how would you know the ECU made the switch say after filling up with 91 from E85. Also what type of setup would be needed to do this, is it all done in the tune itself...
