Attn: People who know things: critique My E85 map?

Hi all, I'm back to tuning again, after killing my engine last year thanks to too much timing. I've got a map I'm pretty happy with, I'd like some other opinions on it.
The car is an 03 VIII with the 9.8 hotside, Full piping, buschur street intercooler, 10:1 compression, TBE, Ebay O2 housing, GSC 280 cams, Boost is 25 PSI tapering to about 23.5 at 7K RPM. Load peaks around 295 til about 5500 where it begins to drop, ending around 245 at 7K AFRs are low 13, high 12 on spool, 11.7 at peak, around 12.2 at redline. Please, don't hesitate to tear me apart if things look wrong. I'd rather fix a problem than feel good about myself. Rebuilding engines is expensive.

First thing I would do is smooth those timing transitions out and clean up the lower rpm and top end.

I have to give you props.....You are the first "pro tuner" that cares enough to tell someone to smooth their timing map.

Thanks for being such an upstanding guy

Load peaks at 5K almost exactly, though I'm above 280 from 3500 or so until about 6K. 280 duration cams with a stock turbo make for a weird power band. I'll post a log tomorrow after I can log this map. All I have right now are dragstrip passes which are pretty useless for this type of discussion.

Also, I'd like to thank GST for posting in threads like mine. It's not the first time he's done so and, had I listened, I might not know how expensive engine building is...

I'm glad to, I'm not always right though, just so you know.

Another piece of advice I can give is always always always make the car slow, then work up from there...

True..

Low boost, rich, low timing...then improve.

Alot of the numbers look good and while I dont necessarily use the word "smooth", make sure the transitions are linear without large jumps if possible. Using a dyno almost everyday I can tell you that jumps of 2-3* arent always something that show up, but anything past that tends to be erratic and visible.

Post up a log or a map trace to see what cells you are hitting throughout the pull.
