I'm using the newest version, 1.27 but I don't see the options for the MAF size and MAF scaling maps...do I need to reinstall?

Hmm, to me, that's the OPPOSITE of conservative. The AFRs are ABOVE 12 for a while, then don't drop below 12 until high rpm. I know it's 100oct, but that's leaner than I used to go at the DRAG STRIP when running 12 flat on the same octane. I'd get it near 12 (high 11s) and get some nice timing, but that was only for drag runs. My daily tune is currently setup for road racing on alky with mid-20s boost, and my AFRs are only 11.3-11.5 with conservative timing.

I'm surprised it only made 337/320 on a Dynojet WITH a 1.03 correction (327/310 uncorrected) with all those mods and being so lean. I think you should reconsider calling that "conservative" tuning for road racing. I actually add 104oct at the track when I road race ON TOP of my low-to-mid 11 AFRs running alky.

Well, George <my tuner> says he gets subies to run 12afrs on 93octane all day without knock. And again a friend of mine got tuned a while ago, he has an 03. He was tunned with a much more aggresive timming and fuel map. He was into the 12's also interms of afrs. So from what i can gather he said that there is still room for power but givin the cars application he felt it was a safe enough tune. We did multiple runs from varying coolent temps and the consistency was spot on and there was zero knock so i would say its safe. If it didnt knock in a 90+degree room pass after sweltering pass i feel itl be safe on the track with bettere air flow. Shoot i can always turn the boost down, and the tracks usualy have better than 100octane.

Check in your options where it says user level, and to see all that the software has to offer change it to advanced/developer. That may be your problem.

Good job posting it. I want to see more post like this.
Anyway, your maf scaling and maf size hasn't been touched ( still stock setting).

Thats why i posted them. To show that its not nessesary to modify these when you can just add columns and use the injector scaleing function.

I just noticed that your load scale is much different then what I've seen on other maps. How did you get it to go out past 300???

I tried the same thing ( changing load scale value to higher).
But the result was the same( timing values landed on the same spot on the table). But my max load value was 300%. May be I should have tried higher .

Thanks for posting the results, I would say that there is still alot of power missing though. I wouldn't be surprised if he richened it up and then added timing that you would gain a ton of torque down low. With a 26psi spike you should easily put down 350 whp and similar torque.

But it seems that is running on the edge and for any typical street car you want to put a cushion in there to compensate for temperature changes and bad gas, etc. Personally I would richen that up some at least have some margin of safety for piece of mind.

you CAN NOT just add columns.. You will just end up writing into another area of the ROM that may do damage..

that is what I thought. I dont have a good feeling about this tune. the power just seems down over all for the mods on the car. I am waiting for the "my engine is blown" thread on this car. I hope your tune is ok but it worries me.

It looks like in the picture he just adjusted the load values for the columns and didn't not add additional colukmns. If he did add columns then no good will ever come out off it unless other changes to the ecu are made to allow for that column to be addressed by the ecu when its supposed to ie during fuel/timing look up..
