Evo 9 and Lancer Auto support added to V1.28
colby, i have u received my email that i sent a couple of weeks ago.
i sent you an email about my ecu with identifier number 96420007 and attached my current rpm.
i would have to choose the 96420008 identifier for it to display my rom, but the rpm scaling in the idle stepper look-up table are off.

Also everyone, don't send Colby ROMS to get definitions, send them to me. That's my job. Just a reminder, I have about 34 ROMs more ROMs already that I have to make definitions for. So you guys will have to bare with me.
Thanks

. But I DL'ed the 1.28. So how do I go about changing <flashmethod>?Open Windows Explorer, browse to the directory "c:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\RomMetadata\Mitsubishi\Evo" , open the .XML files in there with your favorate text editor (NotePad should be ok), look at line #6 which contains the following "<flashmethod>evo</flashmethod>" and replace the "evo" with "mitsukernel", save & close the file and continue modifying other files if neccessary. Done.
1.28 rocks
Just reflashed my JDM Evo 9 GSR ECU (JM885708) quickly and easily. Changed the fuel, timing, VVT, boost limit and reduced the lean spool RPM from 3500 to 2500 RPM. I flattened the fuel map so that it is richer in the midrange and leaner at the top (it was >>12:1 mid, 10:1 at the top - I want 12:1 mid, 11.0-11.5:1 at the top, or whatever it seems to like). I took a degree of timing out at 6000 and 6500 RPM from load 200 upwards on all four high octane ignition maps. I advanced the VVT to 24 degrees in the spool areas. Verified the checksums all OK and the car starts.
I will test it this afternoon with the wideband and knock monitoring and see if it has got rid of my lean spool up, lift off det and det at 6500 RPM problems running the AVC-R with the stock ECU at high boost.
Thanks Colby!
