Lift off detonation sorted thanks to Evoscan/Ecuflash/Second Chance log viewer

Thanks guys!

Having played with the lean spool settings, fuel and timing, acceleration enrichment, the only thing that sorted my lift off detonation at 3000-4500 RPM in the end was retarding 4 degrees in the load zones from 120% to 220% inclusive in the 3000-4500 RPM range. These correspond roughly to 0.2 to 1.2 bar boost. On datalogging with the new tools available (now much faster than the OBD-II which would have never caught this sort of transient) I found that the knock counts were high on lift off and the main culprit seemed to be the timing advance coming back very quickly. The knocklink was showing it and sometimes I could hear it if severe, but I couldn't really tell when/where it was happening in the load tables. Best of all I've been able to advance the full load timing at about 260% by 1 degree so it runs the stock JDM timing, but on UK fuel and running 0.4 bar boost more than stock.

High ignition map #2 is definitely the live one in normal running on my ECU.
