21 psi

What is the boost setting that I need to achieve 21 or 22 psi?? I read how they said that the # is not like you would think it would be to convert it so I was wondering if anyone knew what the exact #'s were???

Appreciate any Positive response..

159 for all the load tables throughout the rpm's
and 0.00 for boost correction values
also 319 for boost limit throughout the rpm's

I would set the boost limit lower than that if the 8 behaves like the 9. Mine is at 285, and I don't hit it with 1.94 kg/cm^2 (approx 28 PSI) overboost. It did work when it hit 2.10 kg/cm^2 (approx 30 PSI).

If you zero the boost correction values you lose any closed loop control I believe, so I would prefer to fiddle with restrictor(s) to allow a small overboost with 100% duty cycle, then you can get full boost more often - ie different temperatures, lower gears etc.

now will this make the factory boost control run max boost @ 21 psi. Cause I really don't want to boost past that!

The easy way is to do as stated in post #2, but if you want a responsive 21 PSI in 2nd gear on a hot day then running open loop boost is not the best way to do it for performance.
