e-flash questions

im goin to get an e-flash from al and was wondering if i should install a fuel pump i bought before i send him my map or just tell him i have it and install it after?? also when i hook up the tactrix cable to my car it says it cannot read from the vehicle! does anyone know what might cause this? any help would be appreciated... thanks

just as long as the fuel pump is installed befor you install the the reflashed
ecu you will be fine
