flash for 10.5 housing on a evo with an 9.8?

My friend wants me to help him out and put my old flash on his car but mines got the 10.5 his has a 9.8cm. Same mods just that...can i do it or no

Now see thats what so revolutionary about having ECUflash. For the first time we have the power to experiment. Or I should say YOU have the power. I would go ahead and do it the worst it will do is help spool.

Hi

To be realy safe, you can upload both maps and see what the differences are between the two. That way you can do a gradual change, thus avoiding any potential peroblems from doing multipul changes at once.

If your old flash was an off-the-shelf mail in tune and same octane is used then it would probably be conservative enough to swap over.

I guess the only difference is the 10.5 may reach a higher load earlier.

In case you didnt read it in the other thread, there is a difference between the 05 adn the 03-04 ROMS. You will have to download his stock ROM, copy and paste all your maps onto it before you flash. Otherwise you will find out that it doesnt not want to start.
