Car stumbling, Logs/Maps inside..
what is the boost cut delay timer set too in the flash? They could have just raised the boost limit and left the delay timmer small, seems to be rate of change based so if the rate of change is higher than the threshold for longer than the delay timer (in milliseconds i think) you could still be hitting boost cut.
Thats an intersting observation on the missfire, I'm gonna go back and look at some of my logs and see if I can find any on my car, my afr's tend to break up from time to time.....

Stock value is 1000 i think. I know Alwaysinboost had a problem with his beeing set too low, made the car feel like it was hitting a wall as he put it. He cranked it up as far as it would go and worked like a champ.
crank it up as far as it goes and turn the boost down a bit with the ebc then see how it goes,
Seems strange man, did you guys already pull out the plugs and take a look at them?
There are certainly a few things that need to be addressed, but if you take them one at a time, I'm sure it will get sorted out, but in the mean time drop some timing and turn down the boost a bit to save the motor while your sorting it out.

well, all 4 plugs looked fine.
i used my SAFCII to help move the AFR towards the rich area (about 3% - 5%) in the 3000 - 5000 rpm range. seems to have helped in 3rd gear, a little less in 4th. the boost is still turned down, maxing at 21.4psi in 4th under WOT.

IMO, spend the money and get a wideband O2 asap. Until then, if you must drive your car, run it with racegas only. The fact that you are running with upgraded injectors on a rescaled fuel map would set off the alarm bells for me. Without AFR data, you are grasping at straws. If, for some reason, you're running too lean, then even lower boost won't save your engine. Even more so when you consider that lower boost will put you into lower load cells, which generally run more timing and less fuel. IIRC, something like an Innovate LC-1 is ~$200 plus whatever it will cost to weld a bung at the end of your downpipe.

Dude,
Listen to Ludi, Malibu, and Razor. They know what they are talking about. Get a wideband and find out where your AFR is. Tuning w/o an AFR is like driving w/o glasses at night.
The saddest thing about the cheapness of the ECUflash is that people will now buy it for $90, buy the Evoscan for $35 and think that is all they need to tune their cars. You need the right tools to tune and a good wideband is mandatory. There are so many good Widebands out there. The Zeitronix and Innovate are two of them.

whoa guys. i'm not tuning the car with ECUFlash, i used it to pull the map off to see what the shop did. this problem is NOT a result of me screwing around with my ECU. i agree, tuning without AFR is guesswork at best.
true, Stew and I did make a bad move with trying to rescale the injector setting. we have corrected that by putting it back to the shop settings.
this car was tuned by a professional shop with the upgraded injectors, not by me. the car has run for several months with no problems. the stuttering problem that i'm trying to solve now started about 10 days ago.
the wideband will going in later this week.

.
.
good luck
Fuel has been turned up a bit with the SAFC and that completely smoothed out the power. Knock counts are down to a max of 4 (down from 30) and there are no dips in power. I'm working on some graphs that I'll post up in a few minutes.
